Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book a package for Multiple sales horses?

Yes – absolutely! You're welcome to include an additional horse or dog in your equine or canine session. This comes at a small extra fee to cover the additional time, attention, and editing involved (e.g., handling multiple animals, extra posing/setup, and curating/selecting from more shots). Please note there is a limit - only 2 additional pets are allowed.  (Limited to only Essential & Classic Portrait Packages)

Extra Horse: R800 (20 additional minutes added, 10-20 photos extra)

Extra Canine: R500 (20 additional minutes added, 10-20 photos extra)

Frequently Asked Questions

What setup do I require for black / white backgrounds?

Fine art sessions like these only require a shaded doorway (Wide enough for your horse to do a variety of poses in) with natural light shining in. Something like a barn or indoor arena doorway works well! Although I recommend that the background is tidied and clean. I do not use any artificial lighting or backdrops.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I prepare for an equine portrait session?

For equine sessions - I recommend that the horses are bathed and turned out nicely. Depending on the style of our session horses can be braided or left with a neatly brushed mane and tail. Please refer to the complimentary prep guide you receive when you book your session.

For our human models - I recommend arriving ready! Whether you have your hair 'n makeup done and outfit on, being ready by the time of our session is a big help! If you need any help with choosing outfits, turning out, or have any questions please contact me!
